Pseudomorph from saharagems at the Harvard Museum of Natural History
Below a picture of a small but very nice
specimen of a pseudomorph from the White Desert which was sold to the Harvard Museum of Natural History (my first specimen
that went to a Museum :-).
"Hello, I'm glad to have won this
mineral specimen. I will be using it in our gallery guide program at the HMNH. We let visitors touch and see hand specimens
of minerals which are related to those in our exhibits. If you are ever in Cambridge, stop by and visit and see how
we are using your specimen!".
